Согласно легенде, для того чтобы обрести могущество, необходимо испить из Чаши, которая так же была известна как Кубок могущества, жертвенную кровь истинного, который добровольно пожелает даровать свою жизненную силу, и одолеть её нынешнего владельца. Но существовал ещё один факт - выпить из чаши мог только прямой потомок самого первого. В вампирской генеалогии прямым потомком является тот, кому вампир через укус передает дар вечной жизни.
